Tišnov joins the Brno Museum Night

On Saturday 18th May you can also set off to Tišnov – the local Galerie Jamborův dům hasorganized its own programme for the Museum Night. From 6pm till 11pmin the gallery garden you will be able to see a large screen projection compiled from photographs of the work of one the most important figures of Czech painting in the 20th century - Jánuš Kubíček (1921-1993), whose abstract paintings are currently on show in the gallery. You can be amused by some of his more light-hearted output – slightly erotic collages from the Calendar of Perennial Joy – in the foyer of the near-by Svratka cinema (showing collage reproductions).

Between 6pm and 9pm the gallery will be offering a special service – if you bring along your antiques, the collector František Vejpustek will gladly value them for you.
