EXHIBITIONS: Prams 1880–1980 (exhibition closing), Camera Obscura, Motorcycles of Václav Svoboda III, Fireworks STAROBRNO – IGNIS BRUNENSIS and Secrets of the Vaults – what you might not have seen

The all-night programme in the museum courtyard will present musical performances as well as a taster from the current exhibition Inventors and Inventions. The MC for the night is Dr. Zdeněk Korčián. The permanent exhibitions will again be animated by characters in period costumes and uniforms, visitors to the Salon of Mechanical Music will be welcomed by the cimbalom band led by Jarda Lesák, while Daniel Kikta will play the accordion and the bagpipes to the “regulars” at the U Pavlíků pub. In the hairdressing salon visitors will be given a perm by stylists from the Edward Scissorhands Studio. Examples of crafts will be presented by students of the Secondary Technical School and the Technical College, the Integrated Secondary School of Polygraphy and the Experimental Metal-casting Workshop.

19.00, 20.30, 22.00, 23.30 Inventors & Inventions – short theatrical performance, by means of which the “artscientist“ Dr. Zdeněk Korčián will take visitors to the world of inventors who often had to fight hard to win recognition for their discoveries.

A pleasant evening mood will be ensured by the music of Gabriela Kočí & Jazz Company

Car park below the museum building: live steam railway models of Moravian park railways and a unique show of giant models of ships, submarines and aircraft, called the Battle of Midway.

Segway–Brno – use the chance to test ride the most happening vehicle today (weather permitting)
